Spring Morning: Honoring the Equinox🌸🙏

Happy Spring Equinox, love.

Blessings on this day of renewal and rebirth.

This morning, I woke feeling lighter—less achy than I have in weeks. I didn’t need to lay back down. I actually had a decent night’s sleep for a change, and I woke up with spring.

I let myself rest in awareness, my body sinking into the bed, not rushing to meet the sunrise in the garden, but instead surrendering to the moment—allowing myself to be with the energy of this transition without guilt or shame. This has been a season of deep physical discomfort for me. I’ve been navigating Parvo Virus, which presents in adults as rheumatoid arthritis, along with struggles in adjusting my thyroid medication—both causing joint and muscle pain. This is why I allowed myself to stay in bed, soaking in the energy of early spring instead of pushing myself to the garden, as I originally planned.

I lit a candle and whispered prayers of new beginnings, leaving behind what was and crossing the threshold into spring. I took a sacred shower, feeling the water wash over me like a blessing. I chose clothing that felt like spring itself—flowy, light, honoring the shift—and let myself soften into the Spring Awakening playlist.

🎶 Through the Cracks by Ayla Nereo played, and I felt the reminder deep in my bones—the importance of weaving rituals of release and calling in love.

We are the feelers, the healers, the space-holders. Those of us who are highly sensitive, intuitive, and deeply connected often carry more than we realize. We are affected—sometimes crippled—by the news, the heaviness of the world. Balance, for us, does not look like balance for others. And I prefer the word harmony anyway;) We walk between, holding space for the collective while also needing to tend our own energy.

Finding YOUR balance is essential. You are not alone.

We must call out to love in these crumbling times.

As we witness the last gasps of the patriarchal structures., we must remember, the loving, compassionate, intuitive feminine is needed.

The space-holding, protector masculine is needed. We carry both, and when they are woven together we have the sacred union.

We require the frequency of love. We crave it, we receive it, we share it with our big hearts—but we must also discern and protect our energy.

For me, this means setting boundaries around what I consume. At different times in life, different ways of staying informed work for us. I’m not saying to bury your head in the sand—we need to stay informed AND protect our energy. It’s about finding harmony.

Years ago, I relied on The Skimm email for daily updates. Now, I prefer the BBC Daily Digest, which gives just the facts of what’s happening around the world. Some days, I check in further. On other days, I ask my husband not to share certain news at all or to hold off until a time when I feel more grounded.

Discernment is key. Especially if we want to continue to hold the light and hold space for the massive support that’s needed.

There will be days when you can shine your light so brightly and hold space for the masses. And there will be days when you need to retreat, to turn inward to soul care. I have no solution, no step-by-step guide. I am not your guru. I am a sister traveler, walking this spiral healing journey with you, sharing my experience to shine a light as I walk alongside you.

Movement, Music & Spring’s Awakening

My body has been fragile, sore, holding pain in unexpected places—the top of my foot, behind my knees, my hands. But I am starting to feel just a little better, and I feel the craving to stretch.

Yesterday, I was able to get down to my mat, but it still hurt too much. Instead of skipping it altogether, it dawned on me—I could do this in my bed and not suffer on the floor. Sometimes, being tender with myself is tough. If ya know, ya know.

Music has always been a healer for me—one of my favorite parts of being an HSP. As a highly sensitive person, I FEEL music deeply, it speaks to my soul. The sound, the lyrics, the energy—all of it carries medicine. And I want to share that medicine with you.

I’ve created a Spring Awakening Playlist—a collection of songs that have been holding me through this transition. 🎶✨

🌿 Listen to the playlist here🧚🏼‍♂️

The Spring Awakening Bundle is also available—an offering of deep seasonal support. It includes:

✨ REPLAY of the Spring Awakening Transition Workshop (a guided journey into Spring)
✨ A printable playbook for reflection and intention-setting
✨ The Spring Awakening Playlist to hold you through this season

🌸SPRING AWAKENING BUNDLE is a free gift for YOU. CLICK HERE🌸

I’ll be popping in here and there to share new songs, reflections, and rituals to help us weave our way into this season.

I invite you to find what speaks to your heart, to move your body, to stretch where it feels good, and to let yourself arrive into spring in your own time.

You ‘re exactly where you are meant to be.

Spring Equinox Blessings, love. Hxo🌸
