HONORING the GREAT MOTHER
Today is Earth Day.
And in the midst of all the noise, uncertainty, fear, and destruction in our world—the chaos of the modern age and constant flood of information…—
It feels more important than ever to come home to ourselves.
To remember what is true.
To root into something deeper.
To return to connection with the Earth,
with each other,
and with the sacred within us.
That’s why I want to share a song that came to me as a prayer.
A lullaby from the Great Mother herself.
This song is called “Calling Us Home” by Olivia Fern.
And the way it found me was nothing short of magic.
I was standing in Luna Garden beside the tree that’s slowly letting go of its life. A sacred mirror for my own healing journey—one that has carried me through all the cycles: birth, death, release, shadow, surrender, and rebirth.
That tree has been a portal for my own becoming, for so much healing, intuitive awakening, and reconnection to magic. It's also a portal I journey through often when developing my intuitive connections—a sacred space where I speak with my Mother and receive her messages and love. I hold ceremony and share ritual under the leaves of this tree, and knowing our time together is coming to an end stirs a deep ache in my heart.
With bare feet on the soil and eyes wide open, I asked Spirit to speak to me through the music. I wasn’t looking for one specific song—I was simply opening to receive whatever held the message I most needed.
Every song that followed felt resonant, yet one wove in just a bit deeper. I knew it was the one meant not only for me, but for the collective. The one to share through this week’s reflection.
From the soil by the tree, I felt called to Meditation Rock. I laid my back down, heart to the stone, palms open and gently held by the Earth. Grandfather Sun warmed my skin. Breathing in rhythm with HER, the quiet came.
Then I heard the soft plucking of the guitar strings… and I knew. My heart squeezed, and hot tears welled. This was the one. It held me exactly where I was—held me in a way I didn’t even know I needed. My tears fell onto the Earth, a sacred gift of release.
“Mother of the land, you hold my hand as I walk through all the valleys of my life.
You are ever giving, ever listening, ever singing… and I feel you.”
This song is an invitation. A remembrance.
Because in a world that tries to pull us farther and farther away from our truth, our magic, our inner knowing… this song calls us home.
SHE is calling us home.
Not just home to the land—but to the sacred within. To our own hearts. To the place that has always known.
This is the work I hold through the HEAR HER sisterhood—creating space for women to quiet the chaos, tune inward, and hear the whisper of their sacred feminine essence. Call it intuition. Call it inner knowing. Call it Goddess, or HER. The name is whatever you feel comfortable with. Whatever resonates with YOU. Just know…
She lives in you and connects you to the sacred web of life.
The Earth helps us remember.
So much gratitude. 🙏
When we connect to the land, we remember our own roots. When we breathe with the wind, we remember our rhythm. When we soften into stillness, we hear the whispera…
You are held. You are loved. You are never alone.
So this Earth Day, I invite you to listen to Calling Us Home and let it carry you back to YOUR WILD HEART.
To the place where the Earth and your soul meet.

And if you feel called, here’s a simple yet potent ritual to honor Earth Day—or any day you need to remember you’re supported:
EARTH MOTHER RITUAL
Step into the natural world. Bare feet if you can.
Feel the energy beneath your feet.
Place your hands over your heart. Breathe deeply.
Inhale the Earth’s love into your body.
Exhale what’s dying within you.
Offer it to the Earth—she will transform it into something beautiful.
May this music, this ritual, and this moment bring you closer to your sacred center within.
She is always calling us home.
And home… is YOU.
Wrapping you in so much healing love,
Heather xo
P.S. Every week, I intuitively choose a song and share a reflection like this with my email circle as part of my Moonday Music Meditations. Each one is channeled for the collective—guided by the energy of the season, the moment, and the needs of the heart. If you'd like to receive them, you can join HERE.
